Easy Egg in a Hole

A simple and delicious breakfast recipe that can be whipped up quickly. With endless variations and minimal ingredients, it's sure to become your "go to" breakfast as well!

  • Non stick skillet
  • Spatula
  • Glass/cup

Ingredients
  

  • Bread
  • Salt/Pepper
  • Eggs
  • Butter

Instructions
 

  • First, heat your skillet on medium high.
  • Second, add 2 tablespoons of butter.
  • Third, cut a hole in the center of your bread using your cup/glass.
  • Next, add your slices of bread (with a hole in the middle) to the skillet.
  • Then, crack your eggs into the holes in the bread.
  • During the cooking process, season eggs with salt and pepper.
  • Flip the pieces of bread (with egg in the center) whenever it is toasted on the bottom.
  • Next, cook on the flipped side to your desired type of egg. (Hard, Easy, etc...)
  • Take "Easy egg in a hole" out of the skillet.
  • Put 1 tablespoon of butter in the skillet to cook your "hats."
  • Place the pieces of bread (hats) into the skillet with butter.
  • Toast the "hats" on both sides in the butter.
  • At last, remove "hats" from the pan and place on top of your "Easy egg in a hole."
  • Most importantly, Enjoy!
