I’ve even heard it said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Now, I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I do know that if I eat something nutritious and packed with protein in the morning, then I am much more likely to make healthier choices throughout the day. And no, it’s not because breakfast is magic. It’s because I am full and satisfied and I’m not acting out of a place of hunger for the rest of the day. And that, to me, is a big win!

And that’s one great aspect of the Keto diet. You aren’t hungry. Not if you are doing it right. As long as you make sure that your main ingredients are high in protein and relatively low in carbs, you will be successful. And by successful, I don’t just mean losing weight, but I also mean staying full and having more energy.

Low-carb recipes are good at that.

But even if the low-carb lifestyle isn’t what you are into, these breakfast sandwiches could still land a spot in your meal plans and may surprisingly become one of your favorite recipes. They taste that good! And I don’t know anyone who would turn down easy recipes, using common ingredients, and packed with flavor!

The meal prep aspect of this is so great because it’s quick and painless. I am a busy mom with 3 kids, a husband, a home, and 2 jobs, so anything that will save me time is important! And having quick meals that use a handful of ingredients is not only the low-carb way, it’s what works for people with a hectic lifestyle.

After getting the key ingredients cooked, which is only the eggs, it’s just an assembling situation. So the entire prep time is mere minutes. Then, these Easy Five Ingredient Keto breakfast Sandwiches can be conveniently stored in the fridge for a quick and healthy grab-and-go breakfast. That way I’m not reaching for muffins, sugary cereal, or even worse, going hungry, especially on Monday morning when it feels that absolutely NOTHING goes right. At least I know breakfast will!

Be Sure To Pin It For Later!

I love these breakfast sandwiches because they are made with minimal ingredients and are super affordable. (Eating healthy doesn’t have to break the bank or blow your grocery budget. You just have to decide what health needs you are trying to meet, and what nutritious meals have similar ingredients. Then you are eliminating food waste and saving money.)

The ingredients are things that are pantry staples, so there isn’t any reason to run out to a specialty store and buy something that you’re never going to use again.

Also, protein is SO IMPORTANT if you are on a weight loss journey, trying to build muscle or maintain your progress. And one of the main aspects of the Keto diet is to up the protein and keep the carbs in check.  So I like to aim for at least 25 grams of protein for every single meal. It’s a total game-changer. Trust me.

These Easy Five Ingredient Keto Breakfast Sandwiches have a whopping 50 grams of protein! Plus, you can tailor them to your own tastes. For example: My dad likes to put a small drizzle of honey but he leaves off the cheddar cheese. I prefer the cheese on my sandwiches to keep them from being dry and I omit any other toppings.

  • Wrap the sandwiches in a paper towel and foil. This will help when re-heating.
  • These sandwiches are good warmed up in the microwave, but you could also use the air fryer to get the bread toasty.
