Baked Brie with Honey and Walnuts
Hola y’all! I’m here to bring you another TikTok recipe that I found! This appetizer is stunning! Truly, it is beautiful! But the other great things about it are that: It’s simple to make, tastes AMAZING, and it’s inexpensive. This recipe is simply a homerun and since the holidays are upon us, it’s the perfect time to bring this to the BLOG. You are sure to impress your friends, family, or co-workers when you show up to your next holiday party with this piping hot baked brie with honey and walnuts! Make sure you serve it on a beautiful baking dish and surround it with slices of French Baguette for dipping. And get ready to be admired for your gorgeous and edible offering! LOL
** Word of caution: Don’t make the cuts into your brie too deep or it will just melt to pieces. You just need to score the top. I made this mistake and it spread out and filled the entire dish. It doesn’t bother the flavor, but the presentation isn’t as pretty. **

Equipment needed:
- 2 round glass baking dishes
Pantry Items:
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 cup walnuts
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons fig jam
Fridge Items:
- (2) 8 oz. Brie Cheese
Seasonings/Spices:
- 2 teaspoons rosemary
baked brie with honey and walnuts instructions:
- First, unwrap your two rounds of brie and place them into 2 separate glass baking dishes. (I like to use a glass dish or any decorative dish that can go in the oven because you will want to serve it out of the baking dish.)
- Second, preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
- Third, take a sharp knife and make cuts in the brie. (This can be seen best in my video below.)
- Next, place the brie in a 400-degree oven and bake for 25 minutes.
- Then, while the brie is baking in the oven, take a French baguette and slice into 1/2-inch rounds.
- Take the slices of bread and lay them out on a baking dish in a single layer and either brush with olive oil or spray with olive oil.
- Then, place the tray of bread into the oven with the brie until you reach your desired level of toastiness.
- While the bread and brie are in the oven, take a skillet and place 1 tablespoon of olive oil inside and add walnuts, rosemary, and honey. Mix well, heat through on the stove, and then set aside.
- After 25 minutes, take the brie out of the oven and spread 1 tablespoon of fig jam over the top of each baked brie. (You will also need to take the bread out of the oven, if you haven’t already.)
- Next, split the walnut, honey, and rosemary mixture in half and pour over each baked brie evenly.
- Lastly, arrange your crostini around the beautifully baked brie and dip away!
